Rebecca commenced working in the health industry approximately 30 years ago when she began as a personal trainer and a remedial massage therapist. It was the exposure to her clients’ injuries as well as her own, with the ongoing referrals to physiotherapists which initiated a spark, Rebecca wanted to be that person. Rebecca wanted to be the physiotherapist that was solving and treating all those conditions. It ignited a passion and a thirst for knowledge.

Rebecca studied hard completing a Bachelor in Health Sc (Musculoskeletal therapy) in 2007 to then gain entry into The University of Queensland’s Masters of Physiotherapy program completing this in 2011.

After a number of years of practice and still the desire to learn more, Rebecca went on to complete her Masters in Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy in 2019 through La Trobe University in Melbourne and is now working through to complete her PhD on cervical spine related dizziness.

She has worked in a variety of settings such as hospital outpatients (Ambulatory), Orthopaedic screening clinics (chronic conditions), private practice, aged care facilities, the community as well as many sporting contracts including the Commonwealth Games and Cricket Australia.

Rebecca has always had a strong interest in treating chronic pain and complex conditions especially anything cervical spine or vestibular related, aka “the dizzy patient.”

Outside of the clinic Rebecca enjoys mostly anything to do with health and fitness. She spends her early mornings at the gym, if not the gym lifting weights, she’s outdoors enjoying a run either alone or with her dog. She also enjoys road trips, camping, hiking with friends and hanging out with her now two grown children.
