Valens Care has grown out of our successful private practice, The Brisbane Spine Clinic. 

In private practice we:

• Set a high standard of professionalism
• Manage a high caseload well
• Undertake a full assessment of each patient
• Strive for excellence in the full range of clinical care
• Manage performance by setting KPIs for our employees
• Care about our patients’ progress
• Are attuned to patient satisfaction.  

That’s quite different to the way many physios working in aged care operate. 

We are owned and managed by physiotherapists so we:

• Understand the care a physiotherapist should provide
• Know the appropriate rate of progress for a patient
• Know how to manage performance issues (though we tend to sidestep these by only hiring skilled and motivated physiotherapists in the first place!).
